How to find the official hotel age policy
A practical way to locate and verify the minimum age on a hotel’s own property page.

Start with the exact address
Search the official brand or hotel site for the full property name and address. Avoid choosing a result only because the marketing name contains the destination.
Look in policies and arrival information
Property overview, hotel details, FAQ and policies-and-payments sections often contain the minimum check-in age. The age must be clearly connected to check-in, not child pricing or account eligibility.
Keep the source context
Record the page URL, short relevant wording and date checked. If the official page does not state an age, label the fact unknown rather than copying a directory claim into certainty.
Resolve disagreements cautiously
Check whether sources refer to different properties, effective dates or room types. If a material disagreement remains, contact the property and avoid selecting the lower number automatically.
Pages that look official but answer a different question
A booking site, a map listing, an older directory or a brand-wide FAQ can show a different age from the property’s own page. Prefer the page for the exact address. A child-stay policy, a loyalty-account age limit or an age limit for a pool or bar is not the check-in age.
Questions to ask if the page is silent
If the official page does not state an age, ask the property directly and keep the answer with your booking:
- I will be [your age] on [arrival date]. Can I check in as the registered guest?
- Which photo ID do you accept, and must the name match the booking?
- Whose card is needed at arrival, and is a debit or virtual card accepted?
- What is the deposit or hold, and when is it released?
