CheckInAge is an independent directory of minimum hotel check-in ages for exact US properties. It is written for 18- to 20-year-old travellers and the parents booking for them.

Who edits it

Editor: Feroz Sheikh. CheckInAge is not a hotel, a travel agency or a representative of the properties listed.

Pages name an exact property, keep a short excerpt from an official source, show when that source was reviewed, and leave ID, card and deposit rules separate from the age. Missing information stays labelled unknown.

How a page is researched

A listing starts from the hotel’s own page, matched to the street address. The minimum check-in age is recorded only when that page states it. A brand FAQ, a booking-site age or a nearby hotel is not copied across. Reviews expire, and an expired review is labelled as such rather than treated as a current approval.

How we verify describes the method. Corrections explains how a reported mistake is handled. Research and summaries are assisted by software; the published record is still a review of the linked page, not a call to the front desk.

What an age match does not mean

Meeting a listed minimum age does not guarantee admission, a room, or acceptance of a particular card or deposit. Policies change. Confirm the official source before a non-refundable booking. Sponsored Expedia and Booking.com buttons are rate links. They do not confirm check-in eligibility. The relationship is described on the affiliate disclosure.
